SRRC No. 39 Announcement on Certain Issues Concerning SRRC
1. After obtain the Radio transmission equipment type approval certificate, manufactures can apply modification application to the State Radio administration(SRRC) if have one of the following situations :
（1）Applicant’s information is changed
（2）Factory’s information is changed
（3）Quality system of the factory is changed(production capacity, technology strength, production line, country of original)）；
（4）Components are changed；
（5）model number changed before actual production and sales；
（6）Product related information changes due to changes in national laws and regulations or radio management policies
In the case of (1), (5)and (6) mentioned above, if the documents meet all the requirement, retest is not needed, the type approval certificate will be corrected and reissued. In the case of (2),(3) and (4), retest is not needed, original type approval certificate is still valid.
2. The Notice on “Radio Transmission Modular Approval for non-independent Operation” Radio Type Approval Management (notice〔2014〕No.1), which mentioned the information technology and household equipment. Detail list as attached.

3. Series model products: the applicant shall submit the naming rules and model differences declaration, as well as the commitment letter of consistent RF parameters. SRRC will choose one model for type test, and issue only 1 type approval certificate which will show the series product model naming rules, and the model and CMIIT number of the "restricted independent operation of radio transmitting module".
Definition conditions of series model:
(1) The use and function of the product are identical；
(2) The appearance and shape of the product are roughly the same (such as color, small change of product size and other appearance changes that do not affect the rf performance of the product).
(3) The "restricted independent operation of radio transmitting module" already obtained separate type approval certificate.
